Hello, my name is Ellen and I am currently a student studying English Language at university. For 2016, my new years resolution was to make a blog and share my exciting and new experiences so I can look back and reminisce over these wonderful times, that I would normally forget.

I love writing about things that I am passionate about, which will entail meΒ rambling on about everyday life, beauty tips and tricks, and lifestyle posts.

      1. Awesome! How are you liking WordPress so far? Motivation is always the key thing to keep one’s mind going and striving.

I’ve been on WordPress since 2012, but took a long hiatus and came back with a fury 2014. Since then, I’ve been writing a lot. I do poetry by the way. It’s not your typical poetry kind of genre. It’s more of a psychological, psychedelic trip but more of a trip to where I challenge the readers and make them think or pull out a dictionary. Or you’ll leave scratching your head and keep question and wondering where on earth do i come from. πŸ™‚ hahahaha!!!

      2. I really enjoy it, it’s just finding the time mainly! Yes you’re very correct.
Wow! That is a long time, congrats on maintaining your motivation! Yes, I had a quick look at your blog and I must say you do have a way with words, it’s great! No wonder you’ve so many readers πŸ™‚

      3. In WordPress you can write whatever you want. Express whatever you want. Think of WordPress as your diary. Like I said before, you seem like a cool and interesting person to talk to.

Keep doing what your doing and don’t lose contact on WordPress.

You’ll slowly grow an audience. Trust me. If you need help on building an audience let me know and I’ll try and help out in any way I can.

So, you also write poetry? In your blog it says your learning English. What other languages do you speak?

      4. Yes you’re so right, great advice πŸ™‚
Oh thank you Charlie, that’s a very kind offer!
Oh no, sorry I think you misunderstood, so I’m studying for a degree in English language, similar to English lit apart from we look at how language adapts and alters a society, and other historical factors as to why English is such a predominant language throughout the world! But gosh, I wish I was bilingual!

      5. oh! I see. Interesting. English does have an effect around the world and in cultures as well.

Tell me something. Have you ever taken a philosophy class before?
If so, do you have a favorite philosopher?

Question: What book are you currently reading at the moment?

      6. Very much so!
I have indeed, I loved philosophy when I took it in college. I can’t say I have an ultimate favourite philosopher, but my two favourites to read about were definitely John Locke and Immanuel Kant!
Can’t say I’m reading anything interesting at the moment, just a ton of text books. What about yourself?

      7. John Locke is good & Immanuel Kant is brilliant as well. Have you ever read ‘Friedrich Nietzsche’ before? Now, he was something else of a philosopher/poet.

What’s your major? if you don’t mind me asking? I know your studying for English languages and what not.

I’m currently reading ‘The Illuminatus Trilogy’ book. By Robert Anton Wilson. Crazy book.

      8. No I haven’t, but it’s definitely on my list now!
So i’m guessing ‘what’s your major’ typically just means what subject field you’re best at (sorry i’m British and don’t use that saying here haha) So for me it’s definitely English and Sociology! What about you?

      9. Friedrich Nietzsche will change your mind about things. Trust me.

It’s quite alright. I’m from L.A. so we angeleno’s speak different. hahahaha!!!

Cool. Cool. May I pay you a compliment. You are beautiful. I know you might get this a lot, but I don’t want to be like those typical men. I really do mean it. You are beautiful and perfect. πŸ™‚

I’m currently majoring in creative writing. And taking art. πŸ™‚

Say, are you a Banksy fan? I know he does a lot of graffiti art work in England.

      10. Oh wow, what part of L.A? That’s definitely one place to go on my bucket list!
Aw, why thank you Charlie that’s very sweet of you πŸ™‚
So are you currently studying in college (university)?
Can’t say that i’m a fan as such, but his work is pretty immense! You should take a look at some of the graffiti art work in Brighton, it’s incredible!

      11. Hollywood area. You should one day check out L.A. Maybe in the future I can give you a good tour. πŸ™‚

You are very welcome. The reason I say your beautiful is because, when I try talking to a beautiful woman I get rejected or ignored. It’s an L.A. thing that people do to other people. I don’t know why but its always been that way for a long time. I’m happy and surprised that we are actually having a good conversation and talking to each other. πŸ™‚

College at the moment. I’m still deciding if I want to go to a university in the long run.

Do you know any graffiti artist in Brighton? I’d love to check out their artwork.

Question: What kind of music genre do you listen to?
